Gina M Copanzzi Designs
Studio Jewelry Artist

My Story
I began making jewelry in my teens when metalsmithing classes were offered at my high school. After years of formal training, I spent the last 20 years refining my skills as a metalsmith by taking a multitude of classes with various artists and masters.
I feel I can best express my artistic abilities by forming and shaping metal. My assemblage of jewelry is the outcome of years of practice, hard work, determination and experimentation. All of my pieces start as either a sheet of metal or length of wire and ends up as a piece of one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry.

I have been inspired and mentored by many accomplished artists and like to "give back" by sharing this knowledge with emerging artists. I regularly teach classes at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Center and Frederick Community College in Frederick, Maryland, as well as other venues.
